I Spy...a paper clip, a sheep, keys, and glue,
a headband, a pen, a quarter, and a brown shoe.
or something along those lines. We are going to them combine them with the other groups I Spy pictures, making and I Spy book. This is something that is very fun and could easily be done in a class. All you would need is a camera, a computer, and powerpoint (you could even use microsoft word if needed). It would be a creative way to get older students to use vocabulary, rhyming, alliterations, etc., while also incorporating technology. This is yet another example of the TPACK model. It is so easy to find fun, creative, and educational lessons using this model once you start using it and thinking about it.
I really like how you talk about the things that you did in class. I personally found them helpful especially since I missed yesterday's class. I work with a lot of students that love I Spy books I am really excited to make some for them. I also think that it is a great way to get all students using technology. This could easily be an assignment/activity to use with younger children as well as older, it would just depend on the way that it is introduced.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the I Spy activity and am excited to see what the other groups came up with. I love how everyone can come up with a new and different idea to use the same base project. I think it's great that you included your picture, I need to figure out how to do that now too!!
